BESAKIH TEMPLE 

A hinduism temple that located in the village of Besakih on the slopes of active volcano of Mount Agung in eastern Bali.

The temple is built on six levels,terraced up the slope.

It was certainly used as Hindu place of worship from 1284 when the first Javanese conquerors settled in Bali.

The literature of word Taman Ayun come from word taman means garden and ayun means beautiful,so Taman Ayun Temple has meaning temple in a beautiful garden.

 Taman Ayun is located in Mengui village about 18 km nort side of Denpasar.
Taman Ayun is aroyal temple in: empire of Mengui - beautiful represent of  the Bali culture.
This temple is beautiful building and multistoried roof and Bali architecture. The attraction is placed on the land surrounded by the big fish pond.

  The outer court Taman Ayun known as jaba,is situated at the outer side of the pool. There is a bridge over the pool to connect the outer court to the inner ones. At the end of  the bridge,on the inner court side,there is a Bentar gate followed by a pathway leadhing to the inner courts. There are two giant statues at each end of the bridge.

ULUN DANU BERATAN TEMPLE

 Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is a temple dedicated to the goddess of the lake. The dominant shrines are merus (pagodas) . This temple was built in the 17th century in worship of the main Hindu trinity,Brahma-Visnu-Shiwa as well as the lake goddess,Dewi Danu.

 The sight and cool atmosphere of the Bali uplands have made the lake and this temple a favourite sightseeing and recreational spot as well as a frequently photographed site.

  Tirta empul is the temple of Tampaksiring, built around a sacred spring. Tampaksiring id an inscription dates the spring all the way back to 926 AD.
There are fine carvings and garudas on the coutyard buildings. The temple and it two holy bathing spots have been used by the balinese people for more than a thousand years for good health and prosperity,as the spring water really does have a power to cure regular purification ceremonies also take place here.

Goa Gajah Temple.

  The literally of Goa Gajah means elephant cave, but there is no any real elephant live or ever there although it named elephant cave. Goa gajah is mentioned in the manuscripts that found in this site.
This temple complex was built for the first time around 11 century based on epigraph found in this site.

  Around 7 m deep cave with a shape of T letter id the major atraction of this Bedulu village's local temple.
The cave it self is carved in solid stone hill of the river valley. The main figur of the carving at the cave entrance is 'boma' ( look like barong face).
Some holes are considered to be used as meditation or sleeping quarters can be found in  the wall of cave. Nowdays those holes are used to place offering whenever there is ceromonies.
There are many diferent statues in this area. We also can see like ancient bathing pool in the front of cave.
